Cadet Fitness Standards



The above fitness standards apply to cadets in Phase 1, to include all new cadets. Please match your age and gender with the standards for each physical event.

  • Sit & Reach: Measured in centimeters (cm) using a fitness sit and reach box.
  • Curl Ups: Otherwise known at “Sit Ups”. Max repetitions performed in one minute, timed.
  • Push Ups: Max repetitions, paced at one repetition every three seconds, not timed.

*These standards must be met to pass each Cadet Physical Fitness Test required in Phase 1 for each promotion.
